We are excited to share a callout for applications for the 2024 Shared Campus Critical Ecologies Summer School!

As a Theme Partner of Critical Ecologies, UAL students have the opportunity to travel to Athens to participate in the themed programme, “Extractive Realities and Ecological Resonances”.

What is Shared Campus?

Shared Campus is a unique collaborative platform of leading international arts universities, schools and colleges. Shared Campus has established a network that focusses on themes of international relevance and how these can be explored through transcultural and interdisciplinary collaboration. UAL takes part in as a Theme Partner of Critical Ecologies, one of the five focus groups of Share Campus.

Critical Ecologies Summer School in Athens

The Critical Ecologies Summer School “Extractive Realities and Ecological Resonances” will be held in July and is free to attend for UAL students.

Please apply via the application form.

Application will close on April 15 2024.

Funding

The Summer School is free to attend for all UAL students, however we are aware that there are also travel, accommodation and subsistence costs associated with attending one of these programmes. In light of this, all students who secure a place will receive a £500 bursary to assist with participation costs.

Summer School Information Events

The Shared Campus Office will be holding an information event for interested students to find out more about the planned programmes. This will be an opportunity for you to speak with the academics who will be delivering the Summer School programmes and learn more about planned activities.
