David Fison

Biography

David is non-executive Chairman of Octavius Infrastructure Ltd and Humphrey Farms and a non-executive Director of Covent Garden Market Authority (CGMA).

David got his engineering degree from Cambridge in 1973 and is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Between 2003 and 2015, he was Chief Executive of Geoffrey Osborne Ltd and Skanska UK Plc. Both companies undertook a broad range of construction and development activities across the UK. Octavius Infrastructure Ltd has sales of circa £250m and was the road and rail business of Geoffrey Osborne prior to being floated off.

Between 2009 and 2014, he was a non-executive Director of the Olympic Delivery Authority, which invested over £6bn in creating the Olympic venues and associated infrastructure. Between 2017 and 2020, prior to the pandemic grounding nearly all flights, he was a non-executive Director of London City Airport and chaired their Capital Program Board committee to extend their terminal building.
