In preparation for the Spotlight Event on UAL Level 4 Professional Diplomas, we asked students from a few of our centres what their experience is of studying on these qualifications.

This spotlight session has been designed for centres that do not currently deliver UAL Level 4 Professional Diplomas or those who are looking to expand their provision. It is also part of our Teach Inspire Create programme of digital events.

If you have any questions about the event, please email approvals.awarding@arts.ac.uk

What do you enjoy about studying L4 Professional Diplomas?

On the Creative Enterprise ... I learn how to budget, network, and understand the importance of building a portfolio career that will help me live and work as a creative person. This course has helped me understand my own potential and allowed me the space and time to consider my next steps

- Izaak Vaughan, L4 Creative Enterprise at West Suffolk College

I enjoy the flexibility of the Creative Enterprise course as it allows me to explore and expand my creativity in a variety of ways such as experimenting with different techniques or being able to bounce ideas and concepts passed the other creative individuals on my course.

I also value the career opportunities that studying the creative enterprise will offer me as a freelancer. I have struggled previously on courses that weren’t accommodating to my needs/ (EHCP) required for my disability, that was until I enrolled on the creative enterprise in September, now I feel supported and optimistic for my future.

- Chelsea Irvine, L4 Creative Enterprise at West Suffolk College

The course gives you skills to move on to work, apprenticeships and universities. We value working on numerous productions throughout the academic year. We respect the availability to a range of students at all entry levels. The briefs and tasks are easy to understand
