At UAL, we’re as career focused as you are. Our Careers and Employability team empower students and graduates to make a living doing what they love.

UAL has a track record for launching and furthering careers. Our graduates can be found in every part of the creative and cultural sectors, from heads of global businesses to self-employed practitioners, and on shortlists for awards ranging from the Turner Prize to the Oscars. 89% of our recent graduates are undertaking further study or are working; over a quarter are freelance or have their own business.

Careers and Employability

Our Careers and Employability team can equip you with the skills to develop your practice, business and employment prospects. Students have access to a range of enterprise and career workshops, networking events, work opportunities and a dedicated website.

Careers and Employability also manages our in-house temp agency ArtsTemps, recruiting students and recent graduates to paid temporary jobs across UAL, and online jobs board Creative Opportunities, used by thousands of employers to recruit staff, freelancers and paid interns. UAL students and graduates also benefit from access to Artquest, which provides support, information and a legal advice service to artists.
