This session is only for London College of Fashion students and graduates. It is aligned to your Graduate Futures careers and employability journey.

We live in a world where online awareness and engagement are key. In this session, we’ll walk you through the steps to elevate your profile, maximise visibility, and stand out in a competitive job market.

Your LinkedIn profile is your digital CV, and we’ll teach you how to craft a compelling headline, write a standout summary, and optimise key sections like experience and skills. We’ll also cover tips for growing your network, leveraging connections, and utilising key LinkedIn features to enhance your profile’s appeal to recruiters and industry professionals. With practical examples and actionable advice, you’ll learn how to transform your LinkedIn profile into a powerful tool for career advancement.

We’ll explore how to make a lasting impression for both online and in-person networking plus best practices for creating a personalised Elevator Pitch and promoting yourself.   • Melanie Mitchell, Graduate Futures Careers Consultant:Leveraging over 20 years of experience as a Buyer, Headhunter and now Consultant, Melanie has worked with a number of brands including Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood, AllSaints, Threads Styling and Sweaty Betty on projects relating to talent acquisition and executive search. Passionate about helping to build both brands and careers through putting the right people, in the right place at the right time she continues to use her industry expertise to coach and inspire the next generation looking to pursue careers in fashion.
