Future Visionaries exhibition

Future Visionaries is the Community Schools Trust’s first visual arts exhibition at London College of Fashion, UAL's East Bank campus, bringing together all 6 of our schools to celebrate the creativity, talent and dedication of our students.

The Community Schools Trust includes Cumberland Community School, Forest Gate Community School, Haggerston School and The Excelsior Academy, all based in our local neighbourhood of east London, as well as University Technical College Norfolk.

This exhibition represents outstanding work from across the curriculum, including Design Technology, Art, Photography and Textiles, and showcases achievement from Year 7 through to A Level.

London College of Fashion, UAL’s Outreach team work closely with students and teachers and are providing this space as part of our East Careers Week celebrations across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The Community Schools Trust are committed to ensuring that every student receives a high-quality creative arts education. Exhibiting student artwork plays a vital role in building confidence, self-esteem and a strong sense of personal achievement. By transforming individual classroom work into a shared public celebration, we create meaningful opportunities for students to feel seen, valued and proud of their accomplishments.

This exhibition also strengthens our school communities. Bringing together students from all six schools fosters a shared identity across the Trust, nurturing a sense of belonging and collective pride. Students see their work displayed alongside their peers’, recognising that they are part of something bigger — a vibrant, supportive and creative community. Celebrating their artistic growth encourages aspiration, resilience and creative thinking, while promoting an inclusive environment where every voice and vision matters.
