Creative Business Internships - How to Apply

Creative Business Internships offer short paid internships to graduating and recently graduated UAL students, placing them with small creative businesses founded by UAL alumni.

Internships are for 150 hours and take place between 1 September to 13 November 2026.

These internships are a great way to gain professional experience you can include on your CV, explore career options, build your network and gain insights into what is involved in working for yourself and setting up a creative enterprise.

Creative Business Internships are open to students/graduates with a right to work in the UK who are:

• UAL students currently in the final year of their undergraduate, bachelors, programme (due to graduate in summer 2026).

• UAL alumni who graduated from an undergraduate bachelors programme in 2025. Those who graduated before 2025 are not eligible.

You cannot apply if you:

• have previously had a UAL Creative Business Internship

• are enrolling onto, completing or graduated from an MA or other higher courses other than a bachelor programme

• are not studying on a UAL bachelor programme (e.g. Diploma or Foundation level)

• graduated before 2025

• do not have the right to work in the UK or your visa does not allow you to work the total number of hours (150 hours) required for the internship.
