Join this online session to find out more about Creative Business Internships and the application process.

Creative Business Internships offers short paid internships to current UAL students, placing them with small creative businesses during September - October 2024.

These internships are a great way to gain professional experience you can include on your CV, explore career options, build your network and gain insights into what is involved in working for yourself and setting up a creative enterprise.

Come along to this session to find out more about the programme, eligibility to apply, the application process and where you can find support on applying.

Applications for the Autumn 2024 programme will open end of May/ early June 2024.

Who can apply

Creative Business Internships are designed to support recent graduates who would be unable to take unpaid opportunities and gain work experience. The internships are aimed at final-year students and recent graduates from an undergraduate bachelor programme only. Those starting, completing or who have graduated from MA or other higher courses are not eligible.

Creative Business Internships are open to students/graduates with a right to work in the UK who are:

  • UAL students currently in the final year of their undergraduate, bachelors, programme (due to graduate in summer 2024).
  • UAL alumni who graduated from an undergraduate bachelors programme in 2023. Those who graduated before 2023 are not eligible.

You cannot apply if you:

  • have had an internship in 2023 as part of the Enterprise Experience Programme or the 2024 Creative Business Internship programme (June/July round)
  • are enrolling onto, completing or graduated from an MA or other higher courses other than a bachelor programme
  • are not studying on a UAL bachelor programme (e.g. Diploma or Foundation level)
  • graduated before 2023
  • do not have the right to work in the UK or your visa does not allow you to work the total number of hours (150 hours) required for the internship.
