Common Ground

Join us for an evening of storytelling, connection, and reflection! Common Ground is a screening curated by BA Film and Screen Studies students featuring eight original short films created by emerging filmmakers from LCC’s Screen School. On June 17th, we will explore themes of community, connection and space. Through diverse perspectives and cinematic approaches, the programme examines the fundamental human desire to find our place within a wider collective.

From intimate stories to complex narratives, each picture explores the idea of a shared experience, and of the uniquness found in human connection. Common Ground features among others, a rom-com Hole Lotta Love, animation Toymakers and documentary Ouroboros.

The screening will be accompanied by a casual networking social hosted at the Darkroom Bar, we kindly invite students to continue the conversation and connect with fellow filmmakers afterwards.
