Try your hand at screen printing in this mini workshop using movement detection and audio to assist you through the printing process.

Free and open to all.

Screamprint sonifies the rhythmic movements of the printing process by using pressure sensors as midi control for a digital synthesiser. These sounds offer guidance through the steps of pulling a print which can be more difficult to put into words, particularly focusing on the pressure necessary when dragging the squeegee across the screen.

In this short workshop, you will have the opportunity to try this audio-driven approach to print teaching in order to learn how to pull a print. Take part and leave with a hand printed step by step guide to screen printing, along with a print you made yourself.
