Starting Your Own Fashion Label Summer School
If you are committed to starting a fashion label, then this summer school will give you everything you need to be ready to launch.
Through a combination of lectures, discussions, group exercises and one-to-one consultations you will critically explore your ideas, and be supported to create a viable business proposition.
This three week starting a fashion label course is delivered by four industry experts who will give you the information you need to get your label started. The final part of the course will involve discussing, presenting and critiquing your ideas in a consultative way, culminating with a one-on-one consultancy session with global fashion consultants Toby Meadows and Sanjeev Davidson.
The small group size (only 12 places available) there will be time to answer all your questions and give you a clear idea of what you need to be thinking about, and the preparation and planning involved in making your business successful.

The last three days will be about discussing, presenting and critiquing your ideas in a consultative way with guidance from both Toby Meadows and Sanjeev Davidson.
You will also receive a copy of Toby Meadows' book once on the course.

Toby Meadows is the international best selling author of ‘How to Set up & Run a Fashion Label’ currently translated into 9 different languages. He is the founder and Director of TNM Consultancy Ltd, a collective of fashion professionals providing creative and business services to the fashion industry, as well as a Director of the award winning London based cult womenswear designer label Belle & Bunty. For the past 15 years he has been a Visiting Lecturer at the London College of Fashion, invited to host conferences on developing a fashion label as well as writing and delivering short courses for professional development within the fashion industry both in the UK and abroad. As well as consulting to hundreds of small to medium size fashion enterprises Toby has worked with some of the worlds largest and most recognisable fashion businesses from high street giants, Gap, Zara, Topshop to high-end designer retailers: Harrods, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood to name merely a few. He has recently been advising the Mayor of London's office with their plans for the development of an East London Fashion Cluster and currently sits on the Advisory Panel for the Centre for Fashion Enterprises in London as well as developing business support incubator programmes around the world working with the next generation of highly talented emerging designer to develop an infrastructure for their business and increase their chances of longevity.
Sanjeev Davidson has a Master of Arts degree from Central Saint Martins, London. He is a Brand Consultant and leading international expert for fashion brand development. He is the originator of ‘BRAND dna X’, a pioneering formula and methodology to manage brands for relevance, sustainability and growth. His masterclasses, seminars, and corporate workshops, cover industry topics from innovation, creativity, brand management, consumer trends, the future of luxury, marketing and communication, as well as starting your own fashion label. Sanjeev has extensive international experience, his talks have been delivered across the world ranging from the UK, China, Indonesia, USA, Spain, India, UAE, Russia, Japan, Argentina and Switzerland. He is the Founder and Director of London Fashion Consultancy, which is a company that provides brand diagnostics and business strategies to the fashion industry. He is also CEO of stylefutures.com, Zurich’s leading brand innovation and entrepreneurship resource. In addition, Sanjeev is founder and pioneer of Mindtastics™, a mindfulness training for modern balanced lives. He teaches a unique technique to unlock the potential in individuals as well as companies. Alongside consulting to many small to medium size enterprises, Sanjeev has worked with some of the world's largest brands and lifestyle businesses including Hackett, Aston Martin, Pepe Jeans, Levi’s, Adidas, Reebok, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Firetrap, Diesel, True Religion, Ben Sherman, Fox Racing Inc, G-Shock, I-D magazine (Vice Group), Harrods, Fenwicks, ASOS, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Agent Provocateur, Ellassay, Aimer Lingerie, Rapsodia, Jazmin Chebar, Dian Pelangi, Woolmark and the BBC. Paul McGregor fronts various successful online businesses, most recently Mens Fashion Magazine. Having being highlighted as an up and coming force in the menswear industry, Paul has been featured and interviewed by a variety of brands and publications including GQ, Vogue, Reiss, French Connection, River Island, Burton plus more. Paul takes a personal approach to every lesson, and consistently offers advice to students after courses have finished.
