Lethaby Gallery: A new manifesto - we want to hear from you!

As part of a forthcoming exhibition exploring the past, present and future of the Central Saint Martins Lethaby Gallery, we’re inviting current students and the local community to share your thoughts and participate in the show.
The Lethaby Gallery has existed in one form or another for over 100 years. Situated just behind reception at our King’s Cross site, and accessible from Granary Square, it is the place for the College to share what it does through exhibitions and events. We'd like to hear what you think about the space, and to make suggestions for its future, which will help to form a new manifesto for the gallery. You can share your ideas on the four following themes:
- Messaging, how should we tell stories?
- Audiences, who are we talking to?
- Content, why does it matter and what do you want to see?
- Engagement, what are we missing?
How to take part
To take part, simply share your ideas in response to the four questions above on our Miro board. Your responses will be visible to all on the Miro board. We will then make a video of the content shared on the Miro board, which will be displayed in a window gallery exhibition.
Deadline
The exhibition will be on display from 15 November 2021–10 January 2022, and we’ll update the video of the Miro board on 22 November and 6 December. Please respond by one of these dates if you want to have your ideas shared in the exhibition. If you make a submission after these dates, we will still see your responses and they will be visible to other users of the Miro board, but they won’t feature in the exhibition.
