How to access Technical Resources at LCC 2021/22

From letterpress to the latest in digital reprographics or 3D printing, LCC students have access to an extensive range of facilities.
This page provides information for current students on accessing Technical Resources at LCC in 2021/22.
Information about Technical Resources at LCC, is available on the Technical Resources site on Moodle.
To access technical resources (equipment, spaces & workshops) you need to book in advance through our Online Resource booking system (ORB).
- To book equipment, log into the ORB and click on ‘Find Equipment’.
- To book an induction or workshop, click on ‘Find Workshops’.
- To book a space or workstation in a technical area, click on ‘Find Rooms & Spaces’.
- Please note: Printmaking, Book Arts & Letterpress and Print & Print Finishing have moved their space booking over to Rooms & Spaces (instead of Workshops).
Most technical areas at LCC will still be employing a face mask and social distancing policy, due to the nature of work being carried out; working in close proximity, in smaller spaces and in spaces with poor ventilation.
