Abbi Fletcher

Biography

Abbi is the Creative Campaign and Project Manager at the Climate Emergency Network (CEN). She has a background in a variety of sectors, including fashion, education, climate and social justice. As a Lecturer in Textiles Design, her primary goal is to harness creativity for climate action within UAL.

Within her role, Abbi has established partnerships with organisations such as The Barbican, Letters to the Earth, Culture Declares Emergency, It's Freezing in LA!, Extinction Rebellion, and others. Some of her notable projects include Carnival of CrisisAppetite for JusticeEarth Quest, The Green House and most recently, a collaboration with Citizens UK to develop an external campaign for the upcoming mayoral elections.

Abbi aims to foster an internal movement for change, providing opportunities for everyone to engage in climate action. Hosting monthly Climate Cafés, seasonal Climate Circles, and develop responsive campaigns, actions, and activities to showcase that the arts can, and must, respond to the climate and ecological emergency.
