Bodies In Bloom

Bodies In Bloom is an immersive installation creating a multi-sensory environment to explore the expansive ways trans and nonbinary people use embodiment practices to connect to their inner worlds and find grounding, healing and relating.

Driven by the director’s personal experience of their own somatic movement practice as a way to feel present, the intention began with Remi’s desire to make a film by trans people for trans people to honor the ways we can find power and autonomy in our bodies.

This installation is an invitation to slow down, notice the sensation of your breath, the way you hold your chest. What does it mean to have this body? When the world attempts to drag us outside of ourselves, how can we practice returning home?
