Course description

During this short course we will cover a variety of different image-making techniques, including collage, drawing and print-making. We will explore ways to bring your drawings to life, how to respond to an illustration brief and what it means to be a professional illustrator. We will look at the relationship between text and image, building a story and character development.

You will learn through exploration and research, experimentation and bringing your personal interests on board. There will be several small projects, culminating in a final portfolio piece using a technique of your choosing.
