Course description

This inspirational and practical fashion design for teens course will immerse you in the world of modern fashion and will help you understand the process of design from start to finish. This includes essential research skills, concept building, design and collage, fashion drawing and figure work.

Clear, easy to understand lessons:

  • Our tutors will explain things in easy to understand, accessible English. If they need to use any special terminology they will make sure they explain what they mean.

Materials

In order to fully participate in the practical exercises please bring the following materials/equipment to the first class:

  • A3 layout pad
  • A camera (mobile phone cameras are acceptable)
  • Pens
  • Paint brushes
  • Pencils
  • Eraser
  • Pritt Stick
  • Paints (water colour, gouache and/or acrylic)
  • Pot of black drawing ink
  • Magazines (fashion related or other subjects)
  • A2 folio or folder to carry work home (we can make a folio from two pieces of card if required)
