Course description

Course overview

This creative, hands-on short course is designed to introduce young learners to the exciting world of fashion. Through a mix of drawing, designing, and making, students will explore the fashion design process from initial concept to final presentation. They’ll experiment with silhouettes, fabric, colour, and texture, learning how to translate their ideas into original designs.

Working in a studio environment, students will develop key skills in fashion illustration, garment design, moodboarding, and basic construction techniques such as draping and working with templates. They’ll gain an understanding of how designers research, sketch, plan collections, and communicate their ideas visually. By the end of the course, students will have created a mini fashion portfolio to showcase their creativity.
