Cosmic Perspective Exhibition, 25th-27th May 2018, Curated by LUMEN

WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY

What is Cosmic Perspectives?
Through the weekend programme, Lumen aim to create a new conversation around climate
change, and the overall damage and destruction we are causing to our environments. The
exhibition will aim to inspire a change of thinking through highlighting the precarious nature of
life, the fragility and monumental importance of life on Earth from the darkness of space, how
concepts such as the Overview Effect alter collective perception of ecology, and the
extraordinary set of circumstances that allow us to exist, in an otherwise, possibly, lifeless
universe.

What is the opportunity?
We are looking for an individual/ collective from the Postgraduate community to run a workshop
on either Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th May.

Ugly Duck, 47-49 Tanner Street, London
Opening times: 11am – 6pm

We are open to format, but it must tie back to the Cosmic Perspectives theme listed above in
some way.

A small fee and expenses will be available to cover costs.

The workshop will be listed and promoted on the Lumen website and social media channels,
Ugly Duck website and social media channels.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please email cosmiclumen@gmail.com by Tuesday 8th
May 2018 at the latest.

Cosmic Perspectives is supported by EXTRA, the Enhanced Postgraduate Community Project Fund
