We are excited that UAL Arts Temps Ltd, a subsidiary of UAL, is now fully established. Through the new business we are able to offer more high-quality job opportunities, as well as expand and develop the service to provide the most benefit for our temporary workers.

Whilst planning to set up the new company we started looking at how we wanted to develop Arts Temps for our students and graduates, making it a more stable financial option for temps was a key priority. We know from experience that it is financially challenging to live and study in London and want to make sure we are supporting our temps with regular pay.

We have therefore contracted the services of a new payroll provider – Phase 3, who will now be providing a weekly payroll for all temps. This means that temps can more easily rely on their pay from Arts Temps. If your timesheet is not authorised in time for the weekly pay run, you will receive that week’s pay the following week.

When do temps get paid?

You will receive your pay on Fridays and this will be the same following every week that you work for UAL Arts Temps Ltd.

When do temps need to submit timesheets?

Timesheets are still submitted in your temp portal the same as before. You must submit your timesheets for your weeks work by Sunday, these should then be approved by your hiring manager by 2pm on a Monday and you will be paid on the following Friday.

Where will I get my payslips?

Your payslips will now be emailed to your personal email address. Please make sure that you have a personal email on your Arts Temps profile and that it is up to date.

Temps no longer have access to the ESS portal to view previous payslips from when temps were employed by UAL. Old payslips can be produced by contacting UAL at

Please ensure that your personal details are correct, if you need to update your name, bank account or address you can find the ‘Temps change of details form’ in the employment policies section of your temp portal.
