Tell us what you're working on
From creation to consumption, intention, and interaction, whether it’s about immersive wonderment or societal progression, whatever the objective we want to showcase how tech can fashion the future.
How to get involved
We are looking for LCF students with fashion-led project proposals that detail your usage of tech (remember you are using tech to look at this) whether as part of your process or outcome, research or return, beginning or end, we would like to hear from you. If you would like to discuss your project prior to submitting a proposal you can contact us at lcfprojectproposals@arts.ac.uk and we will arrange an online meeting with you to discuss your venture. The proposal should be emailed as a one-page doc or a one-minute mp4 video that details:
- What’s your project / work about? (Include a 200-word statement)
- What tech are you using, why, and how?
- What’s the outcome?
- Do you need technical support to achieve your project?
What hardware is required to run the project?
How much physical space do you need to display your work? g Is it spatial VR or projection mapping = lots of space; static VR = small space; video game or film = wall mounted; AR via smartphone = ambient space g Include visuals of how you envision your project working within the space. We do not need to see finished projects but we need to understand your aspirations. You can use any format that helps us holistically imagine what you are looking to achieve for your proposal, including written description, links, images, moving image, etc.
Deadline and how to submit your work
Proposals need to be received by Thursday 31 August 2023, 12:00. Please note; this opportunity is for LCF students only.
You can email, WeTransfer or One Drive your submission to lcfprojectproposals@arts.ac.uk.
A project panel with then review your proposal, if we can showcase it we will arrange an online meeting with you to discuss how to make it possible.
