If you're a UK / EU student who is returning to UAL next year, and you require funding, you will need to reapply for full-time student finance. If you haven’t already done so, we recommend you apply as soon as possible. That’s the best way to make sure you get your funding in time for the start of the autumn term. If your circumstances change before the next academic year starts, your loan application can be updated.
If you’ve got a ‘Home (UK)’ tuition fee status, as well as the Tuition Fee Loan, you may be eligible for a Maintenance Loan or Supplementary Grant – also offered by Student Finance England. If you take up the Maintenance Loan your first payment will be made on Monday 19 October 2020 at the earliest.
If you’ve already applied for your student finance and have been sent a payment schedule – you’ll receive an updated version soon that shows we’ll be starting our autumn term on Monday 19 October 2020.
Contact our Student Advice Service if you’ve got any questions about applying for assistance with fees and funding.
