LCF summer break opening hours 2025

Summer term finishes on Friday, 20 June for undergraduate students and Friday, 19 September for postgraduate students (exceptions apply). During summer break, London College of Fashion (LCF), UAL, will be operating reduced building access and opening hours for students.

Please note: This page will be regularly updated.

LCF building opening times 

The out-of-term building opening hours are:

  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm
  • Saturday, 9am - 6pm (TBC)
  • Sunday, 10am – 6pm (TBC)

Clear lockers out before 7 July

To ensure all student lockers remain secure and in good working condition, routine maintenance and clear-outs will take place at the end of each academic term.

Students must clear all items from the lockers at LCF's East Bank campus before 7 July. All lockers will be reset between Monday 7 – Friday 11 July, and any remaining items will be disposed of, so it is essential that you remove everything you wish to keep. Additionally, lockers with names or stickers added will be removed during the clearance period.

Some lockers will be in use during the reset period (Monday, 7 July - Friday 18 July):

  • The 5th floor lockers located on the left side of the lifts (locker numbers L5: B1-01 to L5: B1-205)
  • These lockers will be taken out of use and cleared by the end of the day on Friday, 18 July.

All lockers will return to standard use on Monday, 28 July.

Library opening times

  • Monday 23 June - Sunday 29 June
    • Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pm
    • Saturday - Sunday 10am - 4pm
  • Monday 30 June - Sunday 6 July
    • Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pm
    • Saturday - Sunday 10am - 4pm
  • Monday 7 July - Sunday 28 September
    • Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pm
    • Saturday - Sunday: closed

Please note: the library will be closed on:

  • Friday 1 August for a training day
  • Monday 25 August for the bank holiday
  • Thursday 4 September for a staff conference

The library will be open on Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 September, 10am - 4pm, and term time hours will resume on Monday 29 September.

Canteen/Café opening times 

During the summer break, the canteen and Benugo café opening times are as follows:

  • The Canteen (10th floor) is open Monday – Friday 12 – 2pm, and will be closed for the last week of August (25 – 31 August)
  • The Cafe (10th floor) will be closed for the duration of the summer break
  • Benugo café (Ground floor) is open Monday - Friday 8am – 4pm
