LCF building opening times over the summer break

Summer term finishes on Friday 19 June.

During the summer break, London College of Fashion (LCF), UAL, will be operating reduced building access and opening hours for students.

Please note: This page will be regularly updated.

LCF building opening times 

The out-of-term building opening hours are:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am–6.30pm.
  • From 6 July to September, the building will be closed on weekends.
  • The building will be open for library access only on:
    • Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 June.
    • Saturday 4 to Sunday 5 July.

Clear lockers out by 3 July

To ensure all student lockers remain secure and in good working condition, routine maintenance and clear-outs will take place at the end of each academic term.

Students must clear all items from the lockers at LCF's East Bank campus by Friday 3 July. All lockers will be reset between Monday 6 – Friday 10 July, and any remaining items will be disposed of, so it is essential that you remove everything you wish to keep. Additionally, lockers with names or stickers added will be removed during the clearance period.

Some lockers will be in use during the reset period (Monday 6 July - Friday 10 July):

  • The 5th floor lockers located on the left side of the lifts (locker numbers L5: B1-01 to L5: B1-205).
  • These lockers will be taken out of use and cleared by the end of the day on Friday 10 July. Maintenance on these lockers will take place on Monday 13 July.

All lockers on other floors will return to standard use on Monday 13 July.

Library opening times

Monday 13 April to Sunday 21 June

  • Monday to Friday: 9am–10pm.
    Saturday to Sunday: 10am–8pm.

Monday 22 June to Friday 25 September

  • Monday to Friday: 10am–6pm.
  • Saturday to Sunday: closed, apart from:
    • Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 June (open 10am–4pm).
    • Saturday 4 to Sunday 5 July (open 10am–4pm).
  • All Libraries are closed Tuesday 30 June, for a staff conference.

Canteen/Café opening times 

During the Summer break the canteen and Benugo café opening times are as follows:

  • Benugo Café (Ground Floor): open 8am–4pm.
  • Canteen (10th Floor): open 12–2pm.
  • Café (10th floor): closed.

Please note, the Canteen will be closed on:

  • 30 June.
  • 13–17 July.
  • 24–31 August.
  • Hot food provision will be provided in the Benugo Café.

Please note: the 10th floor kitchenette will be closed from 15–17 July, for LCF's Undergraduate Class of 2026 Exhibition. Staff are asked to use other kitchenette facilities across the building for this period.

Arts Shop opening times

LCF Arts Shop is only open during UAL term times. The opening times are:

  • Monday to Friday: 10am–5pm.
  • Saturday to Sunday: Closed.
