As we approach the start of term (19 October), we're reminding new and returning students how they can get their hands on their student ID cards.

Your student ID card is one of the most important pieces of kit during your time with us. It gets you access into our building, it lets you register your attendance at classes, it helps you use the printers – and lots more.

Not only that, but it is the University's policy that students must carry their ID cards with them at all times when on site.

This year more than ever, it is important to remember your ID card, and we are asking all students to have their ID card ready for presentation on arrival at College so that we can try to avoid queues in the main entrance area.

How to collect ID cards for new students

For students new to London College of Communication, you won't have your hands on your student ID card just yet.

For new students, your ID cards will be given to you by your course team at your first timetabled lesson on site.

Requesting replacement ID cards for returning students

For returning students, we understand that it's been a long time since you last had to use your card to access the building – and we know that it can be easy to misplace them from time to time.

With that in mind, we're offering all enrolled, returning students who have lost their student ID card a free replacement.

If you need a replacement card, please email lcc.contact@arts.ac.uk and include your full name & student ID number by 15 October, 12pm.

The complimentary card will be printed using the photo we hold for you on file, and will be ready for collection at College on the day of your first timetabled session on site.

If you lose your new ID card, you will need to purchase a replacement card.

Please remember that to be able to attend or access a replacement card, you first need to have enrolled.

If you haven't yet enrolled, please do so as soon as possible. Find out how to enrol on the UAL website.
