We are delighted to announce that this year, the annual Teaching Awards have been reimagined and revamped to become the Arts’ Awards. The new awards give students the opportunity to recognise the UAL staff who have made all the difference to their experience at UAL. This is your chance to thank your tutors, lecturers, technical staff and support staff for all of their hard work and support.
The awards feature newly formed categories which reflect contributions including diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, service support, vocational support, personal development, and online teaching. Nominations are now open and close on Sunday4 April at midnight.
This year, more than ever, we need to focus on community building within UAL. Arts' Awards work towards creating an academic community in the face of Covid, Brexit and economic uncertainty, that champions the close working relationship between students and staff at UAL despite the challenges faced. The awards will highlight the positive work of UAL and showcase individuals and teams that have worked with students to enhance their University experience.
A panel made up of students and staff will decide on the winners, who will be awarded a trophy at the Arts’ Awards Ceremony in May. For more information on the new categories and how to nominate please visit the Arts SU website.
