Accessibility and translation tool Recite Me now available

Accessibility and translation tool Recite Me has been added to the main UAL website - arts.ac.uk. Recite Me is a cloud-based tool that offers a range of accessibility features including:

  • screen reader
  • alternative font options such as Open-Dyslexic
  • colour contrast options
  • ruler to read line by line
  • reading mask to eliminate distractions
  • option to download text as audio MP3

Launch Recite Me by selecting ‘Accessibility’ at the top right of the page.

Recite Me also offers machine language translation and gives site users the ability to translate content into over 100 languages, including 35 text-to-speech voices.

The translation feature can be also be accessed from the Recite Me toolbar or by selecting the Languages drop-down menu at the top right of the page. The drop-down features the most common languages of our users.
