As part of our Teach Inspire Create programme of events, we’re excited to present: A spotlight on Level 1-3 Performing and Production Arts. This free online event will give you the opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of the qualification and hear from those who design, deliver and study on it. This session is for all centres NOT currently delivering the UAL Performing and Production Arts qualifications.

Discover our project-driven and stimulating Performing and Production Arts qualifications.

The UAL Level 1 Award and Diploma in Music, Performing and Production Arts provides opportunities for students to explore, develop and test their creativity while enhancing self-confidence and revealing the potential career demands and opportunities within the sector.

The UAL Level 2 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts provides a full-time introduction to performance, production and design for the Performing Arts that give students a broad diagnostic experience that develops an understanding of Performing Arts as a collaborative activity.

The UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts are designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study or employment in the performing arts.

You will hear from current tutors at UAL Awarding Body approved centres who have successfully planned and delivered this qualifications. There will also be a chance to hear from students about their experience of studying this qualification, and the progression routes it opens up to further study and careers within their chosen industry.

Session outline

By the end of the session, you will have an understanding of:

  • The wide-ranging benefits of this qualification and the different ways it helps students to hone the specific skills needed for progression to further study and their chosen industry
  • How these qualifications encourage innovation and creativity
  • The course overview and delivery.

There will be an opportunity to discuss these elements with our qualification experts in a Q&A session at the end.

The UAL Performing and Production Arts qualifications give us the freedom to devise commissions which inspire creativity, whilst providing a wealth of industry relevant experience. Students are confident and excited to progress in their chosen field and the feedback from progression routes has been very positive – I am confident the qualifications set them up to succeed.
