Are you interested in working with UAL Awarding Body’s Qualifications Development team in the support and development of new qualifications?

Our Regulators expect Awarding Bodies to engage widely with external stakeholders during the development of new qualifications or the re-development of existing qualifications.

The Qualifications Development team are looking for expressions of interest from centres and individuals to join one of our development groups or forums. Development groups form a key part of the process in the development of new qualifications; they allow UAL Awarding Body to gain key insights and feedback on qualification models, subject and unit content and assessment materials from people who will ultimately deliver these qualifications in the classroom. Development groups take place throughout the academic year, and will, in the first instance, take place virtually with members of UAL Awarding Body.

Being part of a development group is your opportunity to help shape what qualifications will look like and what will be taught in the physical or virtual classroom once they are regulated and launched.

We are looking for involvement and expertise from centres and individuals from all areas of art and design, creative arts, media and performing arts and we are particularly keen to hear from you if you have expertise and experience in delivering digital and creative media, and music qualifications.

We are also especially keen to hear from you if you currently teach at centres in Wales or Northern Ireland.

If you would like to be involved, then please get in touch with the Qualifications Development team via email: qualdev.awarding@arts.ac.uk with your name, centre details, contact details and area of expertise. The Qualifications Development team will then add your details to our register and contact you about opportunities to attend a development group when they arise.
