Our training sessions give support in delivering and assessing UAL Awarding Body qualifications

Standardisation events

Standardisation events allow centres to align their understanding of the national standards for Fail, Pass, Merit and Distinction grades across qualifications.

Community groups

Our subject-specific community groups provide an opportunity for teachers around the country to come together and share best practice, but also to exchange academic questions in a relaxed environment.

The next community groups we will be holding are:

  • Subsidiary Diploma in Visual Arts - Wednesday 4 February, 4–5pm
  • Music Performance and Production - Wednesday 11 February, 3pm-4pm
  • Extended Project Qualification - Thursday 26 February, 4–5pm
  • Professional Diploma in Performance - Tuesday 10 March, 4–5pm
  • Performing and Production Arts - Wednesday 11 March, 4–5pm
  • Professional Diploma in Technical and Production for the Creative Industries - Wednesday 11 March, 4–5pm
  • Professional Diploma in Creative Enterprise - Thursday 12 March, 4–5pm
  • Fashion Business and Retail - Thursday 19 March, 4-5pm
  • Art and Design Wales - Wednesday 25 March, 4–5pm
  • Level 3 and 4 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design - Wednesday 25 March, 4-5pm
  • Level 2 Award and Diploma in Art and Design - Wednesday 25 March, 4–5pm
  • Emerging Technologies - Wednesday 25 March, 4–5pm
  • Level 1 and Entry Level 3 in Art and Design - Wednesday 25 March, 4–5pm
  • Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design, and Communication - Thursday 26 March, 4-5pm
  • Music Performance and Production - Wednesday 15 April, 3pm-4pm
