Ellie Meure

Biography

Ellie is Project Manager for Material Re-Use and Circularity, developing a cross-university project to embed material solutions into our teaching and course delivery, focussing on reducing costs for students, as well as the University’s environmental footprint.

Ellie comes from a creative background with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, 12 years as a Visual Effects Artist working in feature film, as well as managing teams of creatives (graphic design, motion design, art direction, videography, photography) creating visuals at brands such as Stella McCartney, Bleach London, and Dazed Media.

More recently, Ellie has been working in Sustainability Project Management with a focus on materials. She is passionate about rethinking our preconceived notions of waste, and is looking forward to digging into the creative and innovative solutions at UAL to help combat the problem.
