Join MA Art and Science for an afternoon of presentations, performances and playful musings on the interconnections.

On the course we fuse (and confuse) art and science. Sometimes it’s playful, sometimes it’s challenging, sometimes it’s curiously delightful. Sometimes the interdisciplinary space is messy, and sometimes it provides clarity to the question we hear so often: 'What do you mean, Art & Science?’

Over the past two years, students have worked across a remarkably diverse range of media to realise their interdisciplinary practices. The works created span sculpture, painting, spoken word, participatory sound, scent installations, and involve digital art, microbiological research and ecological action.

Complementing the Postgraduate Art Show at Central Saint Martins (1-6 July), this two-part symposium invites you behind the scenes, offering insights into the many ways students have played at the intersection. Expect presentations, participatory activities, and performances. You may be surprised and delighted. We look forward to welcoming you.
