From intelligent robotics and ethical AI to data science and creative coding, we offer 4 undergraduate degrees that combine the rigour of computing with the freedom of creative experimentation.

    BSc (Hons) Creative Computing

    Learn to build robots and explore both the creative applications and the role that robots play as they become more common in society.

How do I apply?

We want you to feel confident throughout the application process. Find out how to apply for your chosen course with our guide to applying for an undergraduate course.

Where would I study?

For students joining us in September 2026, if you choose to study Creative Computing or Creative Robotics you'll be taught at our southeast London locations, 45-65 Peckham Road and Greencoat Building on Wilson Road between September 2026 until June 2027. Or, if you choose to study Computer Science or Data Science and AI, you'll be taught at our site in High Holborn during this time.

From September 2027, UAL Creative Computing Institute (CCI) will move to LCC’s new building in Elephant and Castle. You'll be based here for the remainder of your course.

Where would I live?

Ranked in the world's top 3 locations in the 2026 QS Best Student Cities list, it’s no wonder that thousands of students from across the globe choose to study in London.

With underground, train and bus systems spanning the city, you can live close to the campus your course is based in or live in another area and commute to class.

UAL has halls of residence across London and can also offer advice on privately-rented accommodation. Explore our accommodation options and find out about life in halls.

What equipment will I need?

All our courses are part of a computing curriculum, so computing is our primary tool/medium. Whilst advantageous to have your own computer, it is not a requirement as you can borrow a laptop at all CCI locations for use anywhere on that site. Desktop PCs are also available in open-access and technical areas.
