PhD Festival 2026: Exhibition

Exhibition Opening: Wednesday 28 October, 5 - 8pm

Exhibition runs 29 October - 5 November 2026. Opening times TBC.

What happens when research moves beyond the written thesis and into the gallery?

The PhD Festival Exhibition brings together work by doctoral researchers from Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts. Each researcher is at a different stage of their enquiry and is developing their work through art, design or performance.

This is an opportunity to encounter research as it takes form. Ideas become material. Questions are tested through making. Works invite us to look again at subjects that matter to the researchers and the worlds they are exploring.

The exhibition reflects the depth and range of creative research within Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts. It offers a glimpse into research in motion and shows how our doctoral researchers are using creative practice to develop new ways of thinking and making.
