This process-led exhibition will share the story of the impact and value of Community Exchanges within the local community and UAL.

Community Exchanges is a community engagement programme established in 2023. It supports students and alumni from Camberwell College of Arts, Chelsea College of Arts, and Wimbledon College of Arts in developing and delivering creative activities for local partners and community groups across the London boroughs of Merton, Southwark, and Westminster.

We pay, train, and support our students and alumni to facilitate and design workshops for children, adults, and families, providing opportunities for community connection, professional development, and peer support. It is a space to develop and test ideas that collectively explore inclusive, anti-racist community practice, exchange, and co-production, while fostering and nurturing relationships between communities and partners.

This process-led exhibition will share the story of the impact and value of Community Exchanges within the local community and UAL. Held in Camberwell Space, a place for socially engaged practice and a space connected to the neighbourhood and local arts ecosystem.

This is a space to explore what we do, how we do it, and who we work with, an opportunity to celebrate our achievements, partners, and participants over the past three years, as well as a space for you to help shape our future.
