Community Exchanges: Building Connections Celebration Opening

Community Exchanges is a community engagement programme established in 2023. It supports students and alumni from Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts in developing and delivering creative activities for local partners and community groups across the London Boroughs of Southwark, Westminster and Merton.  

We pay, train and support our programme participants to design and facilitate workshops for children, adults and families.  

The programme provides opportunities for community connection, professional development and peer support. It tests ideas that explore inclusivity, anti-racist community practice and co-production, while fostering and nurturing relationships between our local communities and partners. 

Community Exchanges: Building Connections shares the stories, impact and value of the Community Exchanges programme. Throughout this exhibition, you can explore some of the creative works produced by members of our local communities, learn more about the relationships forged across the programme and celebrate its achievements. 

So join us, as we celebrate our partners, our participants and all thats been achieved over the last 3 years of the programme. The evening will have live music, refreshments and some maker stalls for you to get stuck into!

Open to all at Camberwell Space, in Camberwell College of Arts. 6pm-8:30pm. Please notify us of any access requirements ahead of visiting.*
