
Tom Lynch is the Institute’s Technical Manager responsible for the setup and day-to-day running of the technical and computing infrastructure at the Institute. Tom is also heavily involved in UAL’s attendance at Pride in London every year.
He joined CCI from the London College of Communication where he set up the Creative Technology Lab and built the team that supports students with electronics, programming, projection mapping, VR and Games.
Outside of work, Tom was the main event organiser of London’s first Maker Faire in 2013 and also co-founded South London Makerspace, a community workshop for Makers in south east London with around 300 members. In his personal practice Tom is a freelance technical consultant working with artists to realise interactive light installations often for retail spaces such as Top Shop, Jack Space and Miss Selfridge.
