In this workshop you will be introduced to natural dyes, mordants, fixers, acidic and alkaline modifiers, as well as different fabrics and fibres. Using these dyes, you will create painted designs on fabric and embellish them with embroidery stitches. The workshop will take place in the new LCC Community Garden, where you will have the opportunity to observe our mini natural dye garden and find some inspiration.
