Welcome: Post-Grad Connects at London College of Fashion

This event is open to all current postgraduate students at UAL and has a limited capacity, so registration is essential. Students will require their ID card to enter the site.

Open to postgraduate students from all UAL colleges and institutes, Post-Grad Community’s Post-Grad Connects is a day of conversation, connection and creative networking.

Now that you're settled into your course, it's the perfect time to meet postgraduate students from across UAL and grow your creative network.

You'll have the chance to connect with students through creative activities, learn about the careers and opportunities available at UAL, get involved with career themed tabletop workshops and join student-led tours of the creative and cultural programme at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Career in a Year: Vision Board Workshop

Take part in a creative planning session where you'll receive a one-year calendar and be guided through key UAL employability milestones, opportunities and dates to look out for throughout the year.

You'll then customise your calendar into a personal vision board, adding your goals, aspirations, inspirations and plans for the future. Leave with a personalised roadmap to help you stay motivated and make the most of the year ahead.

CV one-to-one advice sessions

Drop in to get your CV reviewed during one-to-ones advice sessions. Just bring a print out of your CV to have reviewed by UAL's Graduate Employability Support team.

Slots limited to first come first serve on the day - there are 16 slots available, but you can book online any time through the student team.

Explore the V&A East and discover volunteering opportunities

Representatives from the V&A's volunteering programme will be at LCF to share information about volunteering opportunities and how you can gain behind-the-scenes experience at one of the world's most renowned museums.

They will also be leading two tours of V&A East, located next door to LCF, at 12pm and 2pm. A V&A representative will escort participants to the tours. Spaces are limited to 20 people per tour, and sign-up is available on the day on a first come, first served basis.

Make them care: How to get people interested in your creative practice

Your work might be brilliant, but how do you get people to notice it?

Time to think like a creative marketer! In this hands-on tabletop challenge, you’ll turn your practice into a campaign: find your audience, nail your message, choose where to show up and create a hook that makes people care. You’ll be thinking about the same things that can help you get your work noticed beyond UAL, from pitching your ideas and building your portfolio to finding collaborators, opportunities and the people who need to see what you do.

Then, we'll put your ideas to the ultimate test: can you make someone stop scrolling?
