Open Days at London College of Communication (LCC) are your opportunity to explore your creative future.

Join us to experience what it’s like to study at LCC. Discover our undergraduate courses, meet the people who shape our creative community, and find out how we support you to develop your ideas into a professional practice.

Booking is essential. Select your course(s) of interest below to book your place and build your personal itinerary.

Due to capacity, you may bring one guest per booking unless exceptional circumstances apply.

 

Arrival and registration

Please arrive at LCC, Elephant and Castle, London SE1 6SB at least 20 minutes before your first session to allow time to register and get settled.

 

What to expect

Welcome talk

Start your day with an introduction to London College of Communication, led by a senior academic. You’ll learn about our approach to creative education and what makes studying here distinctive.
 

Course sessions and Drop-in

Course sessions (45 minutes) and drop-ins (1 hour) give you the chance to explore your subject in depth.

Meet tutors, ask questions and get a clear sense of what it’s like to study your chosen course. We recommend checking your session time in advance and planning the rest of your day around it. For sessions with limited capacity, priority is given to prospective students.

Student Support, Finance and Student Life at LCC talk

Join staff and students to explore how LCC can support you in making the most of your time at university and preparing for life after graduation. This talk will cover key aspects of student life, including transitioning into higher education, managing your finances, and accessing the wide range of support available to you. We’ll also look at how you can build experience, connections and confidence through employability opportunities.  
 

Facilities tour

Explore the spaces where you’ll learn and create. Guided by student ambassadors, tours take you through our workshops, studios and social areas.

Tours run throughout the day. Booking times are there to help you plan your visit, but you’re welcome to join a tour at a time that suits you.

Please note: the tour includes stairs. Let us know in advance if you have any access requirements.
 

Information Centre

Our team is available throughout the day to answer your questions about applications, accommodation, study abroad, student finance, and support services.
 

Portfolio advice

Get guidance on preparing a strong portfolio. Our team will offer tips on selecting and presenting your work, and advice on submitting your portfolio to LCC.
 

Pre-degree advice

When should I arrive? 

Registration opens at 9.30am. The schedule is flexible, so you can plan your day around the sessions you want to attend.
 

What if my sessions clash?

If you’re interested in multiple courses or need help planning your itinerary, contact opendays@lcc.arts.ac.uk and we’ll help you make the most of your visit.
 

How do I read room numbers at LCC?

Room numbers are read from left to right as [building/block][floor letter or number][room number]. For example, in T803, T refers to the Tower Block, 8 is the eighth floor and 03 is the specific room. Signage and student ambassadors will be available throughout the day to help you find your way.

Will there be an opportunity to visit UAL Halls?

Halls tours are not available at this event. However, you can speak with the UAL Accommodation team at the Information Centre.
