On Collective Action and Art Practices Towards Equity and Fairness

With a focus on labour and class, Section of Architecture Workers SAW, A branch of Unite the Union dedicated specifically to advance ethical agendas to make architectural labour fairer through design, construction and delivery processes, and Julika Gittner, Artist, Architect and Researcher (Germany), will demonstrate how collective action and art practices can advance social campaigns towards equity and fairness in the built environment. Jukika is Associate Researcher at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. She is an interdisciplinary practitioner dedicated to the study and practice of sculpture as a means to sustain consultation countercultures aimed at informing and transforming housing provision and transport policies in cities across Europe.
