Diana Rodriguez introduces Care Blocks (Manzanas del Cuidado) a pioneering model that places care at the heart of cities and urban planning.

The Care Blocks Project / Manzanas del Cuidado, Bogota (Colombia), Diana Rodriguez, Special Advisor on Gender and Diversity to the President of the Inter-American Development Bank Group, presents the internationally recognized Care Blocks (Manzanas del Cuidado) a pioneering model that brings integrated services to caregivers and care receivers, and places care at the heart of cities and urban planning. Diana advances equality and inclusion across Latin America and the Caribbean. She served as Bogotá’s Secretary for Women’s Affairs, where she conceived and led the Care Blocks Project.

Speakers:
Diana Rodriguez; economist, lawyer and sociologist. She is Special Advisor on Gender and Diversity to the President of the Inter-American Development Bank Group and served as Bogota's Secretary for Women's Affairs during the majorship of Claudia Lopez.
