Chaired by Professor Lucy Kimbell, this talk brings together researchers and practitioners to share perspectives on creative policymaking.

Designers, artists, and approaches from within design and the arts have infused policymaking in the past decade. From Policy Lab using speculative deisgn within the UK government, co-creation happening in local governments, and artist-led futuring, creative practice is seen to offer something new and necessary in the development and delivery of policy and public administrations.

Chaired by Central Saint Martins Professor Lucy Kimbell, this panel discussion brings together academic researchers and practitioners to share perspectives, insights and critically assess these developments. If policymaking in the 2020s needs now to be "creative" what expectations come with this, and what risks?
