UAL is home to more than 5,000 postgraduate students working across the fields of art, design, screen, communication, fashion, media and performance. Within our six world-renowned colleges and the Creative Computing Institute, we aim to form a creative network of artists, designers and innovators.
Post-Grad Community is an inclusive platform for UAL postgraduate students and alumni to share work, find opportunities and connect with other creatives within the University and beyond.
Ambassadors assist the Student Communications and Engagement Team at UAL with creating innovative and sociable online or face to face extra-curricular events and act a point of contact for the Post-Grad Community across colleges and courses.
We proudly present our new team of Ambassadors:
Hui Su (Pronouns: She/her)
Hi, I’m Hui Su, and you can call me Su. I’m currently studying MA Fine Art, Chelsea College of Arts. I’m originally from China and have a background in finance before moving to London to focus on contemporary art. My practice sits between critical thinking, technology, and material exploration, and I’m especially interested in how individuals navigate rapid social and economic change.
Outside of my studio work, I enjoy gallery visits, research, and community-based discussions that bring together diverse perspectives. As a Post-Grad Community Ambassador, I hope to Support international and postgraduate students in feeling welcomed and connected. To help build a thoughtful, inclusive, and professional community. To contribute to events that encourage dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning.
I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel understood, confident, and inspired—and I’d love to help make that happen across the UAL Post-Grad Community.

Syukie Zhang (Pronouns: She/her)
Hi! I’m Syukie Zhang (she/her), a PhD Researcher at UAL (CCW & LCDS), where I explore choreography as a form of embodied knowledge and intellectual labour.
Originally from Shanghai and raised in the UK, my journey spans across philosophy, creative tech, and movement arts — with previous experience as a product manager in fintech and a founder supporting international creatives.
I’m passionate about building inclusive, interdisciplinary communities that connect students beyond their individual colleges.
As a Post-Grad Community Ambassador, I hope to spotlight underrepresented voices, co-create meaningful events, and support others navigating the wild, wonderful world of postgraduate life at UAL. Outside research, you’ll probably find me choreographing, vlogging, or wandering London’s art spaces with a flat white in hand.

As a Post-Grad Community Ambassador, I hope to help build welcoming spaces, spark dialogue across courses and colleges, and support international students in feeling more at home. Shynara Nygmetova (Pronouns: She/her)
Hi! I’m Shynara. I’m from Kazakhstan, and I’ve also studied in Russia, the UK and Japan, which really shaped my interest in multicultural collaboration and community building.
I come from a graphic design background, curerntly on the MA Global Collaborative Design Practice course at Camberwell College of Arts and right now my practice focuses on social and systems design aimed at creating social and ethical impact.
Outside of university, I enjoy going to sustainability, art and design events, working on small creative projects, traveling and creating social media content.
As a Post-Grad Community Ambassador, my goal is to help postgraduates connect with each other and build a community that feels supportive and inclusive. I’d love to help set up things like peer review groups, themed discussion or reading circles and skills-share sessions so we can learn from each other and strengthen a sense of togetherness across different courses. If you want to get involved or have ideas to share, I’d be happy to connect!

Rev Sullivan (Pronouns: They/she)
Hiya, my name is Rev on the MA Performance: Screen course at Central Saint Martins. I am an audio-visual artist, performer, and facilitator from Manchester! In my own practice I like to explore identity and its construction in relation to external structures.
I am 23 and grew up alongside the internet, which is inextricably linked to mine and so many other people’s development as human beings and artists. I think we are at such an amazing time for video art, with the tools for digital moving image production being so freely available.
I am interested in riding the wave of post-internet video art and seeing how we can use that to critically engage with the world around us.
As a Post-Grad Community Ambassador, I am hoping to help people feel empowered and a sense of belonging in their academic institutions. We have all made big decisions and commitments to be here, so I want to ensure that everyone including myself make the most out of these choices!

Natasha Botelho Cook (Pronouns: She/her)
Hi, I’m Natasha Botelho Cook an American Brazilian artist currently studying MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts.
I work with textiles, painting and installation, often using layered fabrics, nets and rope to build environments that become topographies of belonging and “home”. I’m interested in how materials shape experience, how spaces can be assembled, and how exhibitions can bring different voices into conversation.
Community is a big part of how I engage with my practice. I love working with and learning from others, the shared problem-solving, the exchanges, the way ideas shift when people come together. I also love thinking about curation and put a lot of care into organising shows and collaborative projects that feel open, thoughtful and inclusive.
As a Post-Grad Community Ambassador, I hope to help create spaces that feel welcoming, generous and easy to step into. I’d like to organise relaxed gatherings, exhibitions, workshop exchanges and moments where students can meet across courses, share work, or simply connect beyond their studios.
My aim is to help build a postgraduate community where people feel supported, seen, and part of something communal.

I am Harsh Bhattad from India, currently studying MSc/MA Computing for Creative Industries at The Creative Computing Institute. I work across creative tech, physical computing, and digital making. I love building things that blend code, hardware, and storytelling, whether that is LED based artworks, generative visuals, or experimental interactive pieces.
I am always exploring how technology can feel more human, playful, and expressive. As a Post Grad Community Ambassador, I want to help create a space where post grads actually feel connected. My goal is to make it easier for students to meet people, share ideas, find support, and build things together.
I want to organise events that feel welcoming, useful, and a little out of the box, so everyone can make the most of their time at UAL and in London.

Sofia Bernal (Pronouns: She/her)
Hi everybody! I’m an engineer and sociologist from Mexico (not a degree in common, I had to make sense of it by myself). I am now pursuing an MA in Internet Equalities at The Creative Computing Institute and I’m interested in the intersection of technology and the arts of being, both in a communal sense.
Additionally, I’m a runner, a reader, and secretly a writer. I love London, but I also have a deep feeling of belonging to Latin America and enjoy finding ways in which both cultures can interact.
I’m very excited to be part of the UAL Post-Grad Community and can’t wait to build new things together.
Tim Wojciechowski (Pronouns: He/him)
Hello, I'm Tim from the MA Fine Art course at Chelsea College of Arts. I've been living in the UK for 5 years now, and I still can't get used to the taste of vinegar on chips. As an artist, I mainly focus on the topics of technology and metaphysics in our contemporary world.
I explore these topics through video, installation and maximalist chaos. When I'm not elbows-deep in my latest art project, I enjoy making music, London's queer nightlife and watching weird horror films.
Cassie Quinn (Pronouns: She/ her)
Cassie is a graduate of the Master’s in Biodesign from Central Saint Martins and PhD Candidate, Living Systems Lab at Central Saint Martins. She combines traditional textile techniques with novel biomaterial research within her work.
