While the 2025/26 academic year has begun, let’s look at the top 5 roles that students and graduates hit the apply button for from 2024/25 on Creative Opportunities.

Artist Studio Admin Assistant

Applications: 988

By an undisputed amount of apply now clicks, this role was top of your applications ... for a second year in a row! This internship with Alinka Echeverria Artist Studio offered an insightful view into the running of an artist’s studio and the time and resource management of a project. With the intern asked to perform image research, updating available work inventories and general production and admin duties, it’s no wonder that this role was the most sought after!

London Artists-in-Residence Program

Applications: 333

The second most-applied-for opportunity was this standout artist residency — and it’s easy to see why! Running from February 2025 for four months, the residency offered a serious level of support: £3,000 a month (totalling £12,000) plus up to £1,000 to cover art materials. With dedicated studio space at the London office and a final exhibition to showcase the work created, this role promises a fully immersive creative experience. Add to that a focus on artists with a fresh, distinctive voice — especially those early to mid-career and underrepresented in the field — and it’s clear why so many of you were eager to throw your hat in the ring.

Creative Social Media Intern

Applications: 287

Snapping up the third spot on our list was this slick opportunity with Aralia Creative, a boutique digital marketing agency working right where lifestyle, wellness and modern luxury meet. Aralia is all about helping brands stand out in the nonstop buzz of social media — and their work covers everything from producing eye-catching original content to designing campaigns, managing day-to-day posting and engagement, and shaping big-picture strategy. With a focus on making content that’s visually striking, culturally tuned-in and genuinely hard to scroll past, it’s no surprise this role drew so much attention from you!

Part Time Production Artist / Sculptor Fine Art Studio Hackney

Applications: 245

Coming in next is this hands-on, highly creative role that clearly grabbed your attention! This fine art studio in London Fields, Hackney was on the lookout for a part-time production artist/sculptor, and the mix of skills they’re after makes it a seriously exciting opportunity. From building large-scale props and sculptures to getting stuck into woodwork, 3D printing, metalwork, painting and design, this role promised plenty of variety. And with a big emphasis on curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn new techniques, it’s easy to see why so many of you were eager to apply.

Rounding out the top 5, this position was a golden opportunity for PR, Marketing, and Communications students. With mentorship and hands-on experience running industry campaigns, plus a behind-the-scenes look at setting up multisensory installations, it’s no wonder this role was so popular.
