Tech Yard: after school sessions for South London children age 11-14

UAL Creative Computing Institute (CCI) wants to show young people local to our campus in Southwark that technology can be fun, empowering and accessible.
Starting January 14 and running weekly through January and February, Tech Yard is a virtual after-school club with a series of free introductory sessions in different creative technologies - including creative coding, 3D modelling and sound and game design. The sessions are led by community-focused Creative Technologist and CCI lecturer Jazmin Morris.
It's is free and open to children age 11-14 local to South London. We're looking for young people to join us in time for the start of the series next week.
Schedule
Each session will take place online from 4.30-5.30pm
- Introduction to 3D modelling - 14 Jan
- Code with blocks - 21 Jan
- Spice up your life with electronics - 28 Jan
- Create art with the magic of coding - 4 Feb
- Exploring visuals with creative coding - 11 Feb
- Introduction to game development - 18 Feb
- Public showcase - 25 Feb
