LCC MA Sound Arts Postgraduate Symposium 2026

Research symposium: Sat 21 Nov, 13:00-15:45
Southwark Park Galleries, Dilston Gallery, London SE16 2DD

As technological systems become ever more pervasive and invisible, eleven graduating sound artists question how we live in relation to, and in tension with, technology. Their works make audible connections that might otherwise go unnoticed.

During this symposium, students present the research that shaped their works. We are joined by Lara Geary, an artist and researcher working with drawing, sound, writing/text, space, and generative processes with digital media, machine learning and AI technologies. Lara, an alumni of MA Sound Arts, will present her artistic research before offering a live review of student works.

The research symposium will be followed by performances from Daniel Thomas Freeman, Gavriel Goodman and Ashling McCann.

We recommend arriving early to explore the exhibition before the symposium begins.

Exhibition opening hours: Thursday 19 Nov to Sunday 22 Nov, 11:00 – 16:00. Info:
