Gaining AFHEA, FHEA or SFHEA at UAL: An Introduction

Overview

This 1-hour foundational online Teams workshop introduces the PSF 2023 and UAL's accredited Professional Recognition Programme (PRP) which supports you to Advance HE fellowship.

The session explains the fellowship routes available through UAL's accredited scheme for Descriptors 1-3 (AFHEA, FHEA and SFHEA). The requirements for each descriptor will be explained, enabling participants to identify the fellowship category that best matches their experience, role and contribution to learning and teaching. The workshop also outlines the application process and next steps towards professional recognition.

This workshop is designed as an introduction to the specific descriptor workshop series for AFHEA, FHEA and SFHEA and should be attended before these workshops. The session will be recorded so please sign up even if you can’t attend on the day.

• Thursday 14th January 2027, 12 pm - 1 pm
• Tuesday 19th January 2027, 12pm - 1 pm

Who should attend

This workshop is open exclusively to UAL staff and UAL students who teach or support learning. If you are not a member of these groups you wil not be able to attend.

Only some of our events are open to people from outside UAL. Please check the 'Who Should Attend' section above to make sure you are eligible.
