UAL postgraduate students can apply to live in one of our halls, or in a privately rented property. Whatever you decide, our Accommodation Services team is there to support you throughout your time at UAL.

We want you to feel confident throughout the application process, so we've put together a guide to applying for a postgraduate course.

Each course page will tell you:

• what you can expect to learn during your time with us
• the fees for that course
• the entry requirements and the documents you'll need for your initial application.

We have 2 rounds of application deadlines for courses starting in September 2026:

• Round 1: Tuesday 2 December 2025, 1pm (UK time)
• Round 2: Wednesday 18 March 2026, 1pm (UK time)

After the round 2 deadline, courses will remain open to applications until they're full. We recommend you submit your application as early as possible.

Once you’ve submitted your application and we’ve reviewed it, you may be asked to submit more information, such as a portfolio or video task. You may also be invited to attend an interview.
