Thursday 3 March marks University Mental Health Day, a national campaign on the importance of caring for our mental wellbeing.
On the day we’re running free events open to all UAL students to help boost your mood. Come and join us at the following locations:
Central Saint Martins, Kings Cross
12pm - 2.30pm
Make worry dolls with restful crafting, have your blood pressure checked and get advice about stress and sleep. James’ Place Charity will also be around to chat to you about the free therapeutic support that they can offer to students.
10am–2pm
Student Weronika Szklarek and graduate Paolina Stefani, part of the CSM Associates programme, have also created a printed zine inspired by ‘La Settimana Enigmistica’, an Italian weekly pamphlet which includes games and exercises. Students are welcome to join us in The Street to complete the zines whilst enjoying free snacks and coffee. The zines have been printed on recycled paper using a risograph machine, a sustainable printing method.
London College of Communication, Elephant and Castle

Craft a worry doll and contribute to our wellbeing tree. You can also check out an exhibition of work from our Art Therapy workshops and find out how to join us for future sessions.
