Over the summer, our Digital & Technology department have been making improvements to the stability of the printing service across UAL sites. With these improvements you can expect a more reliable and easy-to-use print service.

What has changed?

There is a new URL for online print services.

The URL for print top up, mobility print, web-print and management of refunds has changed to https://artsprint.arts.ac.uk.

If you had the old link bookmarked (https://ualprint.arts.ac.uk/user), please make sure you have updated it. You will not be able to print anything using this link.

There are 2 new print queues.

To streamline the service, we now have 2 queues (reduced from the previous 4):

New print queues:

  • Arts Mono
  • Arts Colour

These print queues are now available on all UAL Devices .

If you want to print using a personal device, the new print queues can be installed using the Mobility Print service.

Find out how to install the queues on your device.

Mobility Print is the best way to print from personal devices.

Mobility Print is a software that allows you to print directly to UAL Printers from your personal devices, such as your laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

Benefits of using Mobility Print:

  • Mobility Print is active across all UAL sites, so you can print wherever you are. For example, if you study at Wimbledon but live close to Camberwell, you can easily pop by to print at the closest site to you.
  • Unlike web-print, you do not need to upload files to your PaperCut account to print. Once Mobility Print is installed on your device, you can print files directly from your personal device (as you would when using a UAL Computer).

Follow our guide on how to install and use Mobility Print on personal devices.

If you need help installing Mobility Print, you can contact the IT Support Desk on MySupport or at +44 (0)20 7514 9898.

Specialist printing

UAL Print machines can be found across UAL sites, with the majority based in college libraries and Learning Zones. These printers should be used for standard printing, scanning and copying needs. If you require specialist printing, it’s recommended that you speak with your local college print room to discuss your options.
